Help school buy Defibrillators

Deputy Headteacher with the Defibrillator team and Chester the Cat from Dee 106.3 radio

Learners and staff have been busy raising money for two defibrillators to be  installed at the school. Deputy Headteacher Ann Peers has said “This equipment can potentially save a life and this is why the school and local businesses have been so supportive”.

Events happening at school and over the half term break:

  • Non-school uniform day 27th July 2016
  • Lucky Dip
  • Raffle to be held in June
  • Cake sale
  • Bag Packing
  • Kelly Davies Head of Maths is doing a sponsored half marathon on the 29th June 2016. It’s the Liverpool Rock ‘n’ Roll half Marathon. Good Luck!
  • Peter Kavanagh, Learner Support Worker is doing a sponsored Kayak from Colwyn Bay to Llandudno and back on the 30th May 2016. You can make donations on Just Giving via Facebook. Good Luck!
  • A big thank you to all the staff and learners for their support
  • A big thank you to Flawless Hair Connah’s Quay for their kind donation
  • A big thank you to Dee Radio for their continuous support

We are still asking for support for our appeal for either a monetary donation, prizes for raffles or a staff auction. We still have some way to go in raising the £2000 needed for two defibrillators and 24 members of staff to be trained. We would greatly appreciate any contribution you feel that you are able to make.
